Behind the Scenes: Going the Extra Mile for Jamie
At Real Good Rescue, every dog deserves a chance to be seen and find their forever home, but sometimes that takes a little extra creativity and a lot of coordination.
For Jamie, a sweet dog who’s been with us since January, the usual adoption events aren’t an option. Because she takes time to warm up to other dogs, busy environments would be stressful and counterproductive. So how do you showcase a dog who can’t join the crowd?
Enter our team 🤝 Party Animal. Together, we drove an hour and a half each way to set up a backyard “party” just for Jamie, creating a beautiful, safe environment for filming. A former adopter [thank you, Shana] generously offered their parents’ yard for us to capture the perfect backdrop.
Not every foster has the capacity to take photos or videos regularly, so sometimes we need to get creative to make sure dogs like Jamie still get their moment in the spotlight. This particular shoot required multiple people, careful planning, and several months of coordination —all to give Jamie the chance to be seen by potential adopters.
The footage of Jamie shows more than her adorable personality; it highlights the teamwork, dedication, and care that go into helping just one dog succeed. Behind every post or video is a story of planning, problem-solving, and love.
